29th Annual National Night Out

Come and join your neighbors and Santa Clara Police Department for the 29th Annual National Night Out!  Learn about crime and drug prevention with your family, play games, and enjoy some food at the park!

The primary goals of the National Night Out are to

- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Representatives from the Santa Clara Police Department, Fire Department, city representatives, along with candidates running for office will be there for you to speak with them about Rivermark concerns as well as to get to know their goals for the Santa Clara area.

Bring your favorite dessert to share!  The Rivermark Moms will provide juice and water.

The event takes place at the cul-de-sac intersection of Marston and Farrell Way, adjacent to Live Oak Park on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012, from 6:00PM-8:30PM.

A message from Ulistac Natural Area Restoration and Education Project
We would like to remind all you Rivermark folks with children that this Saturday is our free Annual Open House, “Wildflower Day,” at Ulistac Natural Area from 10 am to 2 pm!

There will be booths, garden and park tours, worm composting demos, live reptiles, Ohlone games, nature arts and crafts, live music, and it is all FREE!

The booths will be set up along the trail just inside the south entrance to Ulistac, the entrance nearer Hope Drive.

Weather looks like it will be perfect!

Please paste the link below into your browser and read a great article on Wildflower Day in the April 4th issue of the Santa Clara Weekly!
